Gu Wen-da, a Chinese avant-garde artist with the theme of the world’s hair as the theme and media, works on “2000 United Nations” with the world as its creative territory. In May, he spent time in Han’s Pavilion in Taipei as part of his roving exhibition. Works adhere to the local hair as a medium, for local culture and historical themes, devices into a brick, hair wall, hair mantle and other forms. This exhibition in Taiwan explores the psychological transformation of the Chinese people who have been subject to the changes of the times and the artist’s profound introspection.
