肿瘤细胞的多药耐药性(multidrug resistance,MDR)是指肿瘤细胞对一种药物耐药的同时,对其他结构和机制不同的药物也产生耐药性,它是一种独特的广谱耐药现象。多药耐药的产生是导致肿瘤产生耐药和化疗失败的原因之一。MDR分为原发性耐药(primary resistance)和获得性耐药(ac-quired resistance)。前者系肿瘤细胞固有的对化疗药物不敏感,在首次使用药物时就产生耐药性后者肿瘤细胞最初对药物敏感,但在治疗过程中逐渐产生耐药性。
Multidrug resistance (MDR) in tumor cells refers to tumor cells that are resistant to one drug and resistant to other drugs with different structures and mechanisms.
