中国茶道历史悠久,自古强调禅茶一味。但是现在饮茶的人注重的更多是茶叶的好坏而忽略了饮茶所带给人的心理的积极影响。禅意作为茶道的灵魂,茶道是承载禅学文化的载体,然而当下大多数饮茶的人却体会不到饮茶所带来的恬静悠闲,这种现象的产生与当代茶具的设计现状有着不可分割的联系。同时,日本枯山水文化作为日本禅意的代表,可谓与茶道的已经不谋而合。因此,将茶具设计中巧妙的利用和开发枯山水文化,形成有特色的体现茶道精神的茶具产品,对茶文化的传播与发展具有重要意义。
