这颗刺柏是作者于2002年在合肥购得,当时树已经初步制作,经过7年的养护现已枝繁叶茂,它的优点是基部粗壮宽大,近35cm,舍利部分和水线都很漂亮。出枝位好,但作者认为它的不足之处有几点:树过高,树形有些散,上部分一些树干过直,枝片缺乏层次感,配盆不适。为了提升树格,使其成为精品树,在2009年春,作者决定对其再制作,在助手们的协助下用近6小时制作完成。
This juniper was purchased by the author in Hefei in 2002. At that time, the tree had been initially produced. After seven years of conservation, it has flourished.
