听障学生虽然由于听力有一定的缺陷造成他们在语言上和普通孩子的发展有所区别,但他们在语文学习中仍然是学习的主人,目前许多聋校的教育方式是阻碍听障生自主能力的发展。在聋校小学语文教学中让聋生在教师指导下进行探究性学习,创设情境,激发聋生在语文学习中的探究动机。并在教学中运用多种手段引导聋生探究新知,最终使“自主探究”成为特殊教育学校小学语文教学中的一道亮丽的风景,从而真正实现“使每个听障学生都得到发展”的目标。
