历年来,由于吸烟而引起的火灾相当严重。据统计,从1981年到1985年五年间,我国发生这类火灾15155起,占火灾总数的7%。事实上,这类火灾在国外也很严重。那么,用什么办法来消除这种“公害”呢?依法惩罚那些因此而造成严重损失的当事人,固然是必不可少的措施,但是,这并非唯一的办法,重要的问题在于宣传教育。最近摄制成的我国第一部消防题材的动画片《当心》,通过银幕上生动的形象,忠告人们:吸烟要当心。
