2001年12月3日，中国人民对外广播事业暨中国国际广播电台创建60周年纪念大会在北京隆重举行。中共中央政治局常委、国务院副总理李岚清，中共中央政治局委员、书记处书记、中宣部部长丁关根，全国人大常委会副委员长何鲁丽，全国政协副主席毛致用出席了纪念大会。丁关根同志受党中央的委托，在纪念会上发表讲话，中宣部副部长、国家广电总局局长徐光春、国际台台长李丹也在会上讲话。国家广电总局副局长胡占凡在这次大会之前召开的座谈会上讲了话。现将上述领导同志的讲话集中刊载，以此作为对中国人民对外广播事业暨中国国际广播电台创建60周年的隆重纪念。
On December 3, 2001, the 60th anniversary anniversary of the Chinese People’s Broadcasting Project and the founding of China Radio International was held in Beijing. Li Lanqing, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau and Vice Premier of the State Council, member of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau, secretary of the Secretariat, Minister Ding Zhonggen of the Central Propaganda Department, He Luli, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, and Mao Zhiyong, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, attended the commemorative meeting. Comrade Ding Guangen was entrusted by the party Central Committee to make a speech at the commemorative meeting. Xu Guangchun, deputy director of the Central Propaganda Department, director of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, and Li Dan, director of the international TV station, also addressed the meeting. Hu Zhanfan, deputy director of the State Administration of Radio, made a speech at a symposium held before the conference. The speeches of the above-mentioned leading comrades are now concentrated and published as a solemn memorial to the people’s external broadcasting cause and the 60th anniversary of the founding of China Radio International.
