党的十六大以来,新闻出版总署结合新闻出版行业发展的总体要求,提出党建工作与精神文明建设工作同步部署、同步落实、同步考核、同步总结的“两手抓、四同步”的工作思路,总署的党建工作和精神文明建设工作坚持围绕中心、服务大局,得到了进一步加强、改进和创新,在提高素质、加强组织、服务群众、促进工作、健全制度、务求实效等方面取得了新的突破。前不久,总署研究制订了《关于加强全国新闻出版行业社会主义精神文明建设工作的意见》,提出在全行业内开展精神文明创建活动。为此,记者采访了新闻出版总署署长柳斌杰,请他谈谈总署创建行业精神文明活动的措施、办法。
