大学校园网已经成为广大教师和学生从事教学、科研和学习的基本工具，但由于它不象商业赢利性网络那样受到市场的强烈激发和冲击，它还没有商业网络发展的那么丰富多彩，尤其在网络的软件建设和开发方面还不很成熟，本文结合作者在校园网建设工作中的实践，就如何有效地设计基于WWW的数据库进行了比较深入的研究和探讨。
The university campus network has become a basic tool for teachers and students in teaching, researching and learning. However, because it is not strongly stimulated by the market as the commercial profit-making network, it has not been as colorful as commercial networks. The construction and development of network software is not yet mature. This paper combines the author’s practice in the construction of campus network to conduct a more in-depth study on how to design a WWW-based database.
