有朋友转送我一本孙晓云女史的书法理论著作,我颇感意外。于书法,我不仅是门外汉,平时连留意也谈不上,以致这本已经出版了十多年,累计印刷十来万册的《书法有法》竟被我当成是一本普及书法知识的新书。但是读了几节以后,沉甸甸的学术分量已经显示出来了,我本能地意识到遇见一本好书了。虽然作者为了吸引更多的读者,采用了生动活泼的形式,自传日记、历史掌故、读书随笔、趣味知识等一路娓娓道来,但轻松的语词背后却是严密的理论探索,探索的是近现代书法史上被遮蔽的古代书法艺术的本质性的因素——转笔运指的功能。这也许是作者的独特发现。这一重大发现揭示了现代书法仅被视为“视觉艺术”的误区,还原古代书法以“笔法”为核心的艺术体系,对于未来的书法发展,可能会起到正本清源的作用。孙晓云
