胡锦涛总书记在中央纪委第六次全会上的讲话要求,学习党章,要保障党员行使党章赋予的各项权利。过去,我们在保障党员权利方面做了不少工作,但党员民主权利建设总体状况比较薄弱,原因是多方面的。其中,对党员权利特性的模糊认识是一个很重要的方面。只有消除人们在党员权利建设方面的思想障碍,才能增强保障党员行使党章赋予的各项权利的自觉性。党章规定的党员权利有八项,主要包括三方面内容:一是参与党内日常活动的权利,如参加党的会
General Secretary Hu Jintao’s speech at the 6th Plenary Session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection requires learning from the party constitution and guaranteeing that party members exercise all the rights conferred on them by the party constitution. In the past, we have done a lot of work in safeguarding the rights of party members. However, the overall situation of building the party members’ democratic rights is weak because of many reasons. Among them, the fuzzy understanding of the characteristics of party members’ rights is a very important aspect. Only by removing ideological obstacles in the construction of the rights of party members can we enhance our consciousness in safeguarding the exercise by party members of the various rights granted in the party constitution. Party Constitution provides for eight party members rights, including three main elements: First, the right to participate in the daily activities of the party, such as participating in the party’s meeting
