读王往的这篇小说,我想起了鲁迅先生的《故乡》。《故乡》是中国现代启蒙文学的经典文本之一,在知识分子“我”的视野中,故乡是贫穷破败的故乡,乡土中国的农民是愚昧麻木的灵魂,因此,“我”的还乡是无奈的、忧郁的精神之旅,其中隐含了作者对传统中国的文化批判。显然,这是一种典型的乡村启蒙叙事。
Reading the king’s novel, I think of Mr. Lu Xun’s “hometown.” “Hometown” is one of the classic texts of modern Chinese enlightenment literature. In the field of intellectuals “I”, the hometown is the hometown of poverty and ruin, and the peasants of the local Chinese are the soul of ignorance and numbness. Therefore, Returning home is helpless, melancholy spiritual journey, which implies the author’s criticism of traditional Chinese culture. Obviously, this is a typical rural Enlightenment narrative.
