美国洛克希德·马丁公司即将完成其“21世纪多用途综合激光交战系统”(MILES XXI)的小批量试生产,并交付美国陆军使用。 MILES XXI是一种模拟实弹射击的激光训练系统,最终将全部替换美国陆军现有的MILES训练系统。据洛克希德·马丁公司称,早在1970年,该公司就研制出了直接瞄准射击型的MILES系统。此后1990年又推出了MILES 2000系统,其性能在许多方面有了增强,包括:射击者识别、事件数据存储、多级杀伤等。MILES 2000系统现在已得到广泛应用。 新研制的MILES XXI采用了MILES 2000的技术,此外还增加了可改编程序的装置,适于“战斗训练中心”使用,也适于在“布雷德利”A3型战车和中型装甲车上使用。由于采用了可改编程序的设计,从而提高了MILES XXI的训练灵活性。另外,该系统在使用舒适性和耐用性方面也有独特的优势。
Lockheed Martin, the United States, is in the near future to finalize its small batch pilot production of its MILES XXI and deliver it to the U.S. Army. The MILES XXI is a live-fire laser training system that will eventually replace the Army’s existing MILES training system. According to Lockheed Martin, as early as 1970, the company developed a direct-aiming shooting MILES system. Since then, the MILES 2000 system has been introduced since 1990 and its performance has been enhanced in many ways, including shooter identification, event data storage, multi-level killings and more. The MILES 2000 system is now widely used. The newly developed MILES XXI incorporates MILES 2000 technology and adds an adaptable device for “Combat Training Center” as well as for use on the Bradley A3 and medium armored vehicles. MILES XXI’s training flexibility is enhanced thanks to the adaptable program design. In addition, the system has unique advantages in terms of comfort and durability.
