针对三维激光扫描仪获得的彩色人头数据压缩问题,应用多细节层次模型自动生成技术,提出了基于区域分割的约束网格简化算法。在对三维彩色人头数据进行区域分割的基础上,把网格点分为两类,一类为区域边界点,在顶点合并操作中,区域边界点只能与边界点合并;一类为区域内部点,它能与边界点和内部点合并。然后根据区域加权的误差评价函数,生成多细节层次模型。该算法不但保证了压缩比,而且保持人头模型各区域(眼睛、鼻子、嘴、耳朵和头发)的边界和细节。文中最后给出了人头数据的一组简化实例。
Aiming at the problem of color head data compression obtained by 3D laser scanner, an automatic multi-level model generation technology is applied and a constrained mesh simplification algorithm based on region segmentation is proposed. Based on the segmentation of 3D human head data, the grid points are divided into two categories, one is the boundary point of the region. In the apex merging operation, the boundary points in the region can only be merged with the boundary points. One type is the interior Point, it can merge with the boundary point and the inner point. Then, according to the regional weighted error evaluation function, a multi-level model is generated. The algorithm not only guarantees the compression ratio, but also maintains the boundaries and details of the various regions of the head model (eyes, nose, mouth, ears and hair). Finally, a simplified example of human head data is given in this paper.
