在神经系统有关调节细胞程序性死亡的时空分布、信号转导已做了大量的工作。而介导这个过程的分子机制还不清楚。从大量的实验中获知:许多蛋白质能够调节细胞外死亡信号传递到细胞内的死亡程序。某种组分存在于细胞内,等待特异的信号对它们的活化。最近大量的文献表明:在许多类型的神经细胞凋亡中,凋亡的程序是通过一系列属于CED3/ICE家族蛋白酶而实现的。
Much work has been done on signal transduction in the nervous system to regulate the spatial and temporal distribution of programmed cell death. The molecular mechanism mediating this process is unclear. We know from a large number of experiments that many proteins regulate the death process in which extracellular death signals are transmitted to cells. Some of the components are present in the cell, waiting for specific signals to activate them. A large body of recent literature shows that in many types of neuronal apoptosis apoptosis occurs through a series of proteases belonging to the CED-3 / ICE family of proteases.
