由地质矿产部海洋地质研究所成国栋副研究员主编的《黄河三角洲现代沉积作用及模式》一书由地质出版社出版。该书是1986年到1989年中国地质矿产部海洋地质研究所和荷兰乌德勒支大学比较沉积学研究室合作项目“黄河三角洲现代沉积作用、沉积模式及其在古相沉积物中的应用”的阶段研究成果,由中方研究人员集体编写的。 黄河是我国第二条大河,以其巨大的输沙量而著称于世。其载荷主要是极细粒的粉砂物质。大量悬浮物使河水的密度增高,呈稀薄浊流倾泻入海。这种沉积作用既不同于正常河流,也不同于浊流,而应有自己独特的沉积机理和相模式。其向海加积的方式和因此而形成的粒序变化,也应有其特殊性。因此黄河三角洲是一个具有独特特征而需要研究的三角洲新类型。
The book “Modern Sedimentation and Patterns of the Yellow River Delta”, edited by Cheng Guodong, a researcher at Institute of Marine Geology, Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, was published by Geological Publishing House. The book is from 1986 to 1989 China Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources Institute of Marine Geology and the University of Utrecht, Netherlands Comparative Sediment Laboratory cooperation project “the Yellow River Delta modern sedimentation, sedimentary model and its application in ancient sediments” The phase of research results, compiled by the Chinese researchers collectively. The Yellow River is China’s second largest river, known for its huge sediment transport. Its load is mainly fine-grained silt material. A large number of suspended solids increased the density of river water, pouring turbid water into the sea. This sedimentation is different from normal and turbid currents, but has its own unique sedimentary mechanism and facies model. The way to add to the sea and the resulting changes in the order of the grain should also have their particularity. Therefore, the Yellow River Delta is a new type of delta that has unique characteristics and needs to be studied.
