The Heart of a Yuccie
雅创客是城市里年轻的创意人群。
Yuccies are “young urban creatives”.
这些人想发展和推销他们自己的创意。
These are the people who want to develop and sell their own ideas.
他们坚信自己应该追随自己的梦想，并靠梦想赚钱。
They believe that they deserve to follow and profit from their dreams.
这些人是Y世代中的一小部分。
These people are a slice of Generation Y.
他们不是时髦族——很显然时髦族已经销声匿迹。
They’re not hipsters—apparently the“hipster” is dead.
他们太爱享受也太玩世不恭，没有经历足够的挫折或缺乏坚定的信念。
They have too much luxury and 1）cynicism， and not enough difficulties or 2）conviction.
城市都想吸引雅创客，因为他们创业，促进经济发展。
Cities want to attract yuccies because they launch businesses and help the economy.
时髦族也好，雅创客也罢——许多人就讨厌被贴上标签。
It doesn’t matter if it’s“hipster” or “yuccie”—tons of people just hate labels.
