Jiang Liangfu, formerly known as Jiang Yinqing, was born in Zhaotong, Yunnan on April 12, 1902. He was admitted to the Department of Chinese Literature of Chengdu Normal University in 1921 and was admitted to the Institute of Chinese Studies in Beijing Normal University in 1926.
