半个世纪过去了,至今我还不能忘记抗美援朝中的上甘岭战役,怀念着我的战友周平同志。1952年11月7日夜,31师93团1营1连在我军强大炮火支援下,向占领我597.9高地9、10、11号表面阵地的敌人发起攻击,经过艰苦激战,夺回了阵地。随后,他们在这几个山头上粉碎敌人由一个排、一个连到一个营兵力的几十次冲锋,激战三天三夜,打死敌人五百多人,终于守住了阵地。
Half a century has passed, so far I can not forget the battle of Shangganling in the War to Resist USAid Korea and miss my comrade Zhou Ping. On the night of November 7, 1952, the 31st Battalion, 93th Regiment, Battalion, 1st Battalion, one company, attacked the enemy occupying the surface positions 9,10 and 11 of my Highlands 597.9 with the help of the mighty artillery fire of our army and reclaimed the position after a hard battle. Subsequently, on these few hills, they smashed the enemies from one row to the next, assaulting dozens of assaults on a battalion force, fierce fighting for three days and three nights, killing over 500 enemy troops and finally holding the ground.
