2008年,重庆GDP增速14.3%,列全国第5位、西部第3位。2009年1季度重庆GDP增速9%,2季度增长12.5%,3季度增长13.4%,超全国平均水平5.7个百分点,排位上升,列全国第5位、西部第4位。总体上,重庆经济逐季好转,率先复苏。2009年1至11月,投资增长34.6%;社零总额增长18.5%;进口下降13%,出口下降30%,实际利用外资增长1.7%。
In 2008, Chongqing’s GDP grew 14.3%, ranking the 5th in the country and the 3rd in the west. Chongqing’s GDP grew 9% in the first quarter of 2009, up 12.5% in the second quarter and 13.4% in the third quarter, surpassing the national average of 5.7 percentage points and ranking fifth in the country and fourth in the west. Overall, Chongqing economy improved quarter by quarter, the first recovery. From January to November 2009, the investment increased by 34.6%; the total social and retail amount increased by 18.5%; the import decreased by 13%, the export declined by 30% and the actually utilized foreign investment increased by 1.7%.
