应泰国中华总商会的邀请,以黄凉尘副主席为团长的全国工商联访泰代表团一行12人,于1988年3月18日至26日赴泰进行友好访问。在泰期间,代表团拜访了泰国中华总商会、泰国副国务院长察猜、商业部、实业部、旅暹普宁同乡会等;参观了南洋织造厂、博大洋行、泰万发海产罐头厂;联同中华总商会举行了工商座谈会;此外,代表团成员还分别拜访了一些同乡会、会馆。通过这些活动,代表团接触了工商界各层人士1000多人。泰国的华人、华侨众多,约有四五百
