印度是一个人口众多但并不十分富裕的发展中大国。然而,印度已经决心要从钱包里掏出更多的钞票,发展空间技术。2003年1月,印度宣布在2015年前登月的决定。如果这项计划能够顺利执行,印度毫无疑问将成为世界太空大国俱乐部的成员。通过这次登月行动,印度还希望启动整个国家的经济和创造力,利用空间技术迅速提升全国的教育、科技、卫生水平。
India is a large developing country with a large population but not very rich. However, India is determined to extract more money from its wallet to develop space technology. In January 2003, India announced its decision to land on the moon by 2015. If this plan can be implemented smoothly, India will undoubtedly become a member of the World Space Power Club. Through this lunar landing, India also hopes to start the economy and creativity of the entire country and make use of space technology to promptly upgrade the education, science and technology and health of the country.
