在“五点一线”沿海经济带开发开放的建设热潮中,营口沿海产业基地起步早、建设快,开发开放正向纵深发展,成为沿海经济带建设的典型,原来一片荒芜的盐碱滩、沼泽地,现已经成为国内外投资者青睐的热土。到目前为止,沿海产业基地起步区20平方公里的道路、供电、供热、给排水、通信等基础设施建设正全面推进。在谈项目48项,项目总投资520亿元,签约项目20项。已开工建设项目12个,总投资142.5亿元。其中,投资99.7亿元的中冶京诚营口中试基地项目,投资10亿美元的印刷电路板项目,投资18亿元的300万吨石化项目已全面开工。
