文学,往往与梦有割不断的联系。鲁迅先生曾坦率地谈到《呐喊》是由梦孕育而成的。他说:“我在年青的时候也做过许多梦,后来大半忘却了……这不能全忘的一部分,到现在便成了《呐喊》的来由。”中华民族的深重灾难,使整整几代民族先觉者们都做着形式各异的强国梦。从“五四”时期以至当代,强国梦构成了中国现代文学的一条主线,一条包孕了先觉者们爱我中华、壮我中华的真挚情感和深沉思索的主线。 在这条主线上,近年来中国文坛已逐渐缭绕着另一个梦:民主梦。随着社会主义民主和法制建设的向前推进和法制文学的长足发展,民主梦日益显示出它的清晰面目和无穷魅力。民主梦其实是这样一种愿望结构:从横向看,它表达了三种典型的“民族情结”;从纵向看,它深入探寻了丑恶与犯罪的历史文化根源;从立向看,它用血与泪向万里长空写下一篇健全社会主义法制的宣言。换言之,民主梦是由情感机制、探寻机制和呼唤机制所共同构成的愿望结构。剖析这个愿望结构,有助于清理强国梦在当代文坛的发展和嬗变,有助于理解当今社会生活向文学提出了什么要求,有助于了解今天法制文学的基本特征和历史走向。
