三稜箭(Cereus triangularis)(右图)又名量天尺,是仙人掌科植物,北方做盆花种植,常做仙人球的砧木,在广东地区则露地种植在墙边、石壁下边或攀附在大树上。夏末秋初,在茎上陆续开放出白中带黄,长达20—30厘米的花朵。三棱箭花形很似令箭、昙花等(见右图),开花多在晚间,除供观赏,鲜花晒干后可做蔬菜。港澳和东南亚各地,居民用它煮汤,汤味清香、滑润可口,还具有清热,滋补、润肺、祛痰的功效。广东省高要县全利公社,有不少农户利用墙院或用砖头在空地垒起矮墙,在春、夏、秋三季扦插种植,插后半个月左右生根,三、四年生
