NO 2 is an important hazardous ingredient in industrial and automotive exhaust and in cigarettes. NO 2 acts on connective tissue, accelerating the development of emphysema and cardiovascular damage. In recent years, it has also been found that chronic exposure to NO 2 can lead to a decrease in total collagen content in lung tissue. The authors have reported that there is a change in the blood glycoprotein concentration when NO 2 is chronically poisoned. The purpose of this paper is to investigate lung changes in collagen metabolism during long-term exposure to NO 2. 90 male guinea pigs weighing about 400 g were divided into experimental group (60) and control group (30). Animals in the experimental group were exposed to NO 2 for 8 hours a day for 180 consecutive days in the exposure room, and NO 2 concentration was 2 mg / m 3. The amount of air delivered to the room is 9 m 3 / h to prevent asphyxiation and CO 2 accumulation in animals. The animals in the control group inhaled only the same amount of fresh air in the exposure room. After exposure to poisonous animals, the animals were sacrificed and the lungs weighted. Add glass homogenizer and distilled water to homogenize. The protein is measured by the method of Winzler
