研究应用环磷酰胺诱发小鼠糖尿病，并观察了三消片对非肥胖型自发性I型糖尿病（NOD）小鼠的降血糖作用。结果发现三消片对高血糖的NOD无降糖作用，而对血糖正常的NOD可使其糖耐量曲线低平。研究表明，三消片可能是通过中药中所含的微量元素与胰岛素协同作用发挥降血糖药效。
The study used cyclophosphamide to induce diabetes in mice and observed the hypoglycemic effect of Sanxiao Tablet on non-obese spontaneous type I diabetes (NOD) mice. The results showed that Sanxiao Tablets had no hypoglycemic effect on hyperglycemic NOD, while normoglycated NOD could make the glucose tolerance curve flat. Studies have shown that Sanxiao Tablets may play a hypoglycemic effect through the synergistic effect of trace elements contained in traditional Chinese medicine and insulin.
