为了进一步加强水文与气象学科间的联系,促进我国的一门新兴边缘学科——水文气象学的发展,在中国气象学会、中国水利学会的关心和支持下,1987年6月15～18日在北京召开了首届中国气象学会、中国水利学会水文气象学委员会成立暨第一次工作会议。来自水文、气象部门的委员和有关同志19人出席了会议。会议回顾了建国以来水文与气象部门在防汛、水利水电建设等方面紧密配合,所作的大量卓有成效的工作。会议认为,为了使水文和气象更好地为我国四化建设和社会发展服务,在目前成立水文气象学
In order to further strengthen the connection between hydrology and meteorology disciplines and promote the development of hydrological meteorology, an emerging edge subject in China, under the care and support of China Meteorological Society and China Hydraulics Society, June 15-18, 1987 Beijing held the first China Meteorological Society, the Hydrology and Meteorology Committee of China Hydraulics Society was established and the first working meeting. 19 members from the hydrological and meteorological departments and relevant comrades attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed a great deal of fruitful work done by the Hydrology and Meteorological Department since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in close cooperation with flood control and water conservancy and hydropower construction.
