镇稻12号是江苏丘陵地区镇江农科所利用品种间复交选育而成的优质中熟晚粳新品种,在示范推广中表现出米质优、产量高、抗病性强等特点,于2009年2月通过江苏省农作物品种审定委员会审定。
Zhenjiang 12 is a new high-quality and medium-maturing late japonica variety, which is a middle-maturing late Japonica variety selected and re-cultivated among the varieties used in Zhenjiang Agricultural Science Institute in the hilly area of Jiangsu Province. It showed the characteristics of high quality and medium-yielding late japonica rice during the demonstration and popularization, February 2009 through the Jiangsu Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee.
