通过以长江中下游两个典型代表港口武汉和南京的江海直达运输航线为例,选用中国船舶工业总公司系统现有集装箱船型,拟定不同的航速、负载率、挂靠港数和海段运距进行计算.提出上述两种航线在不同海段运距下的最佳集装箱船的箱位数以及在不同始发港负载率下的最佳挂靠港数.并指出,集装箱江海直达运输的效益和效率与航线参数、船舶参数以及运输组织有极大的关系.
