笔者在剧坛上笔耕了近三十个春秋,也写出了不少剧本。但省里戏剧界专家和老朋友给我打的“印象分”是:虽然很会编戏,但塑造人物欠缺功力。古话说:“忠言逆耳”,对此,我心里老不服气。怎么说我也有作品在全国、省里得过奖;还创作了数十部大型戏曲由剧团演遍了闽南“金三角”,观众喜闻乐见,受到普遍好评;有几部戏拍成戏曲电视片、录成盒带向海内外发行。我虽够不上“剧作家”,在群众中也少有名气,写戏还欠缺功力?
I penned in the theater for nearly thirty years, but also wrote a lot of scripts. However, the provincial drama experts and old friends gave me the “impression points” is: Although it is very much a play, but the characters lack of skill. Although I am not a “playwright,” I am also less famous among the masses. I am still short of writing skills.
