四川大学生物材料工程研究中心是一所从事高技术生物材料科学与工程技术研究,培养博、硕士等高级人材的科研、教学单位,也是一个从事开发经营的独立法人实体。主要研究方向是生物活性材料和医用植入体,重点是骨、牙和关节系统修复材料,也进行软组织和五官修复材料研究。研究与开发该中心1983年于国内率先开展生物活性羟基磷灰石研究,1987年与国际大体同期开始等离子喷涂羟基磷灰石涂层研究,先后承担和负责国家自然科学基金(含重大项目课题)6项,省、部级重点项目6项,国家“八五”科技攻关计划中唯一的一项生物材料专题;在研“863”高技术项目1项,国际合作项目4项,以及跨世纪青年基金、博士基金等项目多项。

It has successively undertaken and is responsible for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (including major project topics) 6, provincial and ministerial key projects 6, the national “85” scientific and technological project of the only one biomaterials topics; research in “863” high-tech projects 1, 4 international cooperation projects, As well as across the Century Youth Fund, Dr. Fund and many other projects.
