In this paper, 506 cast steel dust workers, 1550 cast iron dust workers. 738 control workers were measured pulmonary ventilation function and comparative analysis. The results showed that the measured value of pulmonary function indexes such as FVC and FEV1.0 in cast steel and cast iron exposed workers accounted for a declining percentage of the predicted value and the rate of abnormal lung function was higher than that of the control workers, Steel workers lung damage is particularly serious. Three years of follow-up observation showed that the average annual drop of FVC and FEV1.0 of cast steel workers was greater than that of cast iron workers. The same cumulative amount of dust collected by cast steel and cast iron dust collectors also showed that the damage of lung function of cast steel workers was more serious than that of cast iron workers.
