中国电影家协会第八次全国代表大会于2008年12月25日至27日在京召开。来自全国的349位代表,包括来自香港、澳门特别行政区的13位代表出席会议,他们代表全国广大电影工作者,共商中国电影大计,并研究确定影协今后五年的任务。本次大会的议题包括审议《中国电影家协会第七届主席团工作报告》,修订《中国电影家协会章程》以及选举新一届中国电影家协会理事会和主席团。
The 8th National Convention of China Film Association was held in Beijing from December 25 to 27, 2008. 349 delegates from across the country, including 13 representatives from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions attended the meeting. They represent the vast majority of filmmakers across the country to discuss Chinese film projects and to study and determine the tasks of the film association over the next five years. The topics for this conference include reviewing the Report on the Work of the Seventh Bureau of China Film Association, revising the Statutes of the Association of Chinese Film Directors, and the election of the Council and the Bureau of the new China Film Directors Association.
