武钢自1987年恢复试行工人技师评聘制度以来,已经在94个工种序列的高级技术工人中评聘了1245名工人技师(其中高级技师15名)。这些被评聘的工人技师不仅具有一定的理论知识和丰富的实际工作经验,不仅能够在本工种序列中发挥专业技术骨干的带头作用,解决生产中的技术难题,而且在广大职工中产生了巨大的积极影响,使他们感到在工人岗位上工作也有奔头,对稳定生产一线工人队伍起到了重要作用。实践证明,武钢的工人技师评聘工作是成功的,达到了预期的目的和效果,概括起来,主要的作法和经验是:
