一般“彩管”老化是因阴极衰老引起的。阴极发射能力会随使用时间而逐渐降低,它的寿命取决于阴极涂层的活性状态和工作环境。“彩管”的氧化物阴极是在基金属表面涂敷一层活性物质(钡、钍、锶、钙、镁、锆的氧化物以及它们的化合物)。它对基金属(钨、钼)内部的自由电子起加速作用,从而提高阴极的发射能力;涂层的厚度为10~100μm。阴极衰老实际是涂层的衰老,处理阴极衰老应从涂层衰老原因谈起。
General “CPT ” aging is caused by the cathode aging.
