朱学范在大革命时期即投身工人运动,曾参加上海工人武装起义。抗日战争时期,他曾任中国劳动协会理事长。1948年在哈尔滨召开的第六次全国劳动大会上,陈云当选为中华全国总工会主席,朱学范和李立三、刘宁一为副主席。1949年11月1日中央人民政府邮电部正式成立,朱学范被任命为邮电部部长。1981年11月,在第五届全国人民代表大会第四次会议上,朱学范被选举为副委员长。
Zhu Xuefan joined the workers’ movement during the Great Revolution and took part in the armed uprising of workers in Shanghai. During the Anti-Japanese War, he served as chairman of China Labor Association. At the 6th National Labor Conference held in Harbin in 1948, Chen Yun was elected as Chairman of All China Federation of Trade Unions. Zhu Xuefan and Li Lisan and Liu Ningyi as their vice chairmen. November 1, 1949, the Central People’s Government Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications was officially established, Zhu Xuefan was appointed Minister of Posts and Telecommunications. In November 1981, at the Fourth Session of the Fifth National People’s Congress, Zhu Xuefan was elected as vice chairman.
