作者对老年人中与肺炎有关的一些慢性疾病的流行病学以及每种疾病并发肺炎的相对危险性进行了评估。对象芬兰一小镇上所有60岁以上的居民4175人,根据医疗记录挑出15种慢性疾病,并查明该组人群三年中患肺炎的病例(185例)。
The authors evaluated the epidemiology of some chronic diseases associated with pneumonia in the elderly and the relative risk of each disease with pneumonia. Subjects All 4175 inhabitants aged 60 and over in a small town in Finland picked 15 chronic diseases based on medical records and identified 185 patients with pneumonia in the cohort for three years.
