中职培养的人才,应是能直接从事生产、技术、管理、服务等为一体的应用型、技能型人才。但是,在人才的培养中,普遍存在的重理论、轻实践;教学与生产脱节,满足不了上岗要求的问题。由此,针对性进行教学改革就势在必行。在此,笔者尝试借鉴将技能竞赛引入到中职畜牧兽医教学改革中去,务必做到:以技能竞赛为载体,改革传统教学模式,提升学生解决实践问题的能力;以技能竞赛为引导,激发学生的学习兴趣,提升学生的抗压能力;以技能竞赛为突破,提升学生就业自信心,提升学生的综合素质;以技能竞赛为契机,改善专业实训条件;以技能竞赛为手段,提升教师的教学能力,不断提升自身理论知识和实践能力,文中将对相关的要点展开论述,以供参考和借鉴。
