“外交舞台”在《世界知识》上辟为专门的板块已有一年。读者对这个板块表示了浓厚的兴趣,也对新一年的“外交舞台”表达了更高的期待,特别希望我们能增加现实外交的活跃内容。编辑部将尽量满足读者要求,展现新时期中国外交的丰采。本期“外交舞台”记者时之采访了去年11月跟随江泽民主席参加APEC峰会的外交部国际司高官张炎和访问俄罗斯的外交部欧亚司司长赵希迪。下期将采访陪同江主席访问日本的亚洲司官员。
It took a year for the “diplomatic arena” to become a specialized sector in “world knowledge.” The readers expressed strong interest in this sector and also expressed higher expectations for the “diplomatic arena” of the new year. We hope we can increase the active content of the diplomacy of reality. In this issue of “Diplomatic Stage,” reporters interviewed Zhao Yandi, the top international official in the Foreign Ministry who followed Jiang Zemin’s attendance at the APEC summit in November last year, and Zhao Xidi, director of the Eurasian Department of Foreign Affairs who visited Russia. The next issue will be to interview officials of Asia Division who accompanied President Jiang on his visit to Japan.
