引言在述及1970年的职业安全卫生法规贯彻中,国立职业安全卫生研究所(NIOSH)提出了潜在有害物质接触限值的建议,并定期进行修订。研究所也提出了预防措施,以降低或消除这些有害物质对健康的有害作用。NIOSH在制订这些建议时评价了与危害因素有关的一切已知和现有的科学资料。然后予以发表并送交美国劳工部。职业安全卫生管理局(OSHA)用以颁布法定标准。
INTRODUCTION In describing the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) put forward suggestions for potential exposure limits for hazardous substances and regularly revised them. The Institute also put forward preventive measures to reduce or eliminate the harmful effects of these harmful substances on health. In developing these recommendations, NIOSH evaluated all known and current scientific information relevant to the hazard. Then publish it and send it to the U.S. Department of Labor. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to promulgate statutory standards.
