高校外语教学的最终目的是提高跨文化交际能力。我国高校外语教师跨文化交际能力与业务需要、社会期望存在一定的差距。有效提升高校外语教师的跨文化交际能力,需要高校和广大外语教师共同探索并实践。跨文化交际能力提升的重点是要掌握中外思维方式的差异,掌握中外价值观念的不同,掌握中外社会规范的异同。提升的主要路径包括提升跨文化语言交际能力、跨文化非语言交际能力和跨文化处理实际事务的能力。
The ultimate goal of college foreign language teaching is to improve intercultural communication skills. There is a gap between social expectation and cross-cultural communication skills and business needs of foreign language teachers in higher learning institutions in China. To effectively improve the cross-cultural communication skills of foreign language teachers in colleges and universities, it is necessary for universities and foreign language teachers to jointly explore and practice. The key to enhance intercultural communicative competence is to master the differences between Chinese and foreign ways of thinking, master the differences in values between China and foreign countries, and grasp the similarities and differences between Chinese and foreign social norms. The major pathways for improvement include enhancing intercultural language communication skills, intercultural non-verbal communication skills and the ability to cross-culturally deal with practical issues.
