关于戏曲舞台上的“李慧娘”其人其事,追本溯源,皆是源于明代周朝俊所撰《红梅记》传奇。本文中笔者浅析的李慧娘,便是脱胎于《红梅记》的故事内容,经诸多秦腔名家演绎传承至今,在秦腔舞台上素有试金石重量的优秀经典传统名剧《游西湖》中的女主人公。剧中“李慧娘”为摆脱生活桎梏,与宋代奸相贾似道进行生死斗争,且尤以《鬼怨》一折鬼魂形象流传千古。笔者出身戏曲世家,自幼看着《游西湖》长大,自学戏从艺起饰演李慧娘便是我的梦。
