初中语文第六册《岳阳楼记》“沙鸥翔集,锦鳞游泳”中的“游泳”二字,不少教师把它当作一个词,释为“在水里游动”,这不妥当。“翔”,回飞也,动词;“集”,群鸟停歇木上也,也是动词。这句的词序是名——动——动。但如把“游泳”作为一个词,则“锦鳞游泳”的词序就是名——动,与“沙鸥翔集”属对不工。其实,“游泳”是两个词,《说文》:泳,潜行水中也。《诗·邶风》:“就其浅矣,泳之游之”。朱熹集注:
