与书画、瓷器等收藏大项相比,无论是市场兴起的时间,还是目前的价格水平,报纸收藏都算是“小老弟”;但经过20多年的发展,我国的报纸收藏随着集报爱好者的日趋理性而逐渐成熟。我国的报纸收藏始于1980年代初,至今也只有20多年的时间。1990年前后,各地出现了一些民间集报组织,据估计当时集报爱好者的人数在100多万。经过多年的发展,庞大的集报队伍已明显“瘦身”,一批盲目收藏者主动出局,现在留下的集报爱好者更多地活跃在集报、展报、研报等方面,这表明报纸收藏正在走向理性、成熟阶段。
