An efficient and easy-to-use handheld passive night vision camera has been sold in Sweden and Norway. The instrument meets NATO technical requirements and technical specifications and has been ordered by the Norwegian Armed Forces after a comparative assessment with competing night-vision instruments. The new instrument has a large aperture (F / 1.3) catadioptric objective and a Second Generation Image Enhancers for High Resolution Microchannel Plates. From 1,500 meters on the size of the tank to observe the target, focusing range from 25 meters to infinity. For ease of operation, the instrument has only two controls: the switch and the focus knob. Experiments show that the use of monocular capacity
