在盈江县,傣族、景颇族和傈僳族群众,喜欢在庭园栽培多年生米辣。1982年11月,我们曾对卡场公社盆都生产队一位傈僳族老人栽的六年生米辣进行过考察。这株米辣,栽在他家菜畦上。虽然已到冬季,它还处于结果盛期。有的果实已经泛红,有的嫩绿碧青。现场实测,株高98厘米,冠幅面达2.22平方米;有主分枝10个,平均长124.5厘米,每一主分枝一般长有12个小枝。全株有结果枝199个,共结果1137
