查本省境内铁路经我党政军民及铁路人员之全力抢修,已大部恢复。在各路大军胜利推进下,本省形势基本转变,从对敌前线转为革命战争的大后方。为了继续支援解放战争,实现全国解放,同时便利工商运输,促进经济发展,我们不只要尽力保护现在通车铁路,还必须以更大努力抢修未通车铁路。而继续修护铁路,目前最感困难的问题是材料缺乏,赶造不及。因此我们号召全省人民共同起来收集献纳铁路器材来解决定一困难,凡本省民间保存,公私机关收藏,市场上流通的铁路器材,自布告之日起,一律停止变卖转移或毁坏,原数点存,照下附办法献缴铁路局,以支援人民铁路的建设。既经此次收集,嗣后如再发见非铁路系统保有或买卖铁路专用器材者,定予查究。
Most of the railways in the province of Zambia had been largely repaired by the army, people and railway personnel of our party, government, and government. Most of them have been restored.
