宁夏盛产石膏,远景储量约近百亿吨.主要石膏产地,所处大地构造位置为昆仑—秦岭地槽褶皱区—走廊过渡带东端,主要形成于早石炭世和第三纪渐新世.
Ningxia is rich in gypsum, with a prospective reserve of nearly 10 billion tons. The main gypsum is located in the Kunlun-Qinling geosyncline fold zone - the eastern end of the corridor transition zone, and is mainly formed in the Early Carboniferous and the Oligocene.
