铁路是否安全畅通,关系到国计民生和社会稳定.去年5月,中央社会治安综合治理委员会在贵阳市召开“全国铁路护路联防工作现场会”以来,铁路护路联防工作取得了较大进展.目前,铁道部确定的治安重点区段,大多数已经落实了护路联防措施.为了加强对护路联防工作总体上的指导和协调,中央社会治安综合治理委员会最近设立了“铁路护路联防工作小组”,由铁道部、公安部、总参动员部和中央综治委有关负责同志参加,办事机构设在铁道部,日常工作由铁道部有关部门承办.目前全国护路联防主要有三种形式.一种是由当地政府直接领导,军区武装部门、公安、铁路等有关部门参与,实行民兵护路的形式;一种是由当地政府
